Dr Cato was wonderful with Forrest. Forrest was very sick, he had to stay with them for 5 days. It was touch and go, but he has made a full and happy recovery. I have found that Dr Cato and his staff really care when other vets just dont have the same love and care. Im very grateful a friend recommended Dr Cato to us ❤️
absolutely do NOT take your pets to this clinic! The staff are incompetent and ive often had to spend 30+ minutes on hold or transfer whenever contacting the vet via phone, Dr Cato himself I believe used to be an excellent doctor he is very sweet and kind but he is extremely old and I dont think he should be working on animals anymore, his staff are often rude, ive witnessed many altercations in the lobby while waiting to get seen. I recently took my cat in for a urinary blockage and everything with that went well, but they also offered to neuter him for cheaper so they wouldnt have to do double anesthesia so we agree’d, we’d been having trouble with him calling females to the house so for us it was taking out two birds with one stone, well they send us home with him and the Neuter incision has 0 stitches and is left glued, apparently because male cats often pull the stitches out, was understandable so we continued watching closely after him, a few days after we left I noticed something pink and fleshy coming out of the incision, the vet was closed so I made my cat a makeshift cone to try and make him leave it alone until we could get a real cone from the vet, so I called up the next morning and they told us to bring him in so they could check it out, we spent 2 hours in the waiting room for a 3 minute visit where a vet technician quickly glanced at it, felt around, and immediately told us it was “scar tissue forming” and “a cone is unnecessary”, we were dismissed and brought our kitty home, and now the “scar tissue” looks even worse than when we first brought him in, it is sticking out even further and is bleeding, if it gets any worse we will take him to a new vet since I REFUSE to put my baby back into the hands of these unorthodox children.. currently looking into cones to buy since the incompetency of this vet refuses to hire educated technicians and instead hires high school graduates who have likely barely spent 3 months in the vet field.
As an over-the-road truck driver, one of the hardest parts of life on the road is finding quality care for your pet when an emergency happens far from home. Tonight, my dog Lilly wasn’t feeling well, and we learned she had fluid in her lungs. Thankfully, I found this incredible veterinary team. The staff treated Lilly with compassion, professionalism, and urgency, ensuring she received the care she needed when I felt helpless miles away from home. What could have been a terrifying situation became manageable because of their dedication and kindness. I truly believe God placed this clinic in our path tonight. To everyone on the staff, thank you for what you do. Your care made all the difference, and I will be forever grateful.
I dropped both of my pitbull puppies off on Friday 5/29 they were both diagnosed with Parvo. A huge thank you goes to Dr. Cato and his team every time I called they answered, an everyone was just as nice as could be. I picked both of my puppies back up on Wednesday 6/3 and both are doing fabulous and acting like their normal selves. We will definitely be back. Thank you for treating us as family and helping us.
